The Walteria News Network was founded in 2000 by Walt Winston, while he was working at a radio station in California.   Walt Was trying to start his own internet radio station as far back as 1995 but lacked the knowledge of the technology to pull off such a feat.   Now fast forward to 2024, and here he is launching his Independent News Network which was always a part of his Record Company website and now the network is totally on its own now.     Currently, Walt is a Journalist turned Truck Driver.  Walt is actively working while he's on the road to bring you the latest news he can find for you.

     At The Walteria News Network, we won't bring you political theatre because 

that's not what we do.  We will bring you the stories you may or may not get anywhere else.   We only cover the U.S. General Election only with extensive and

down the middle coverage like we did in 2024.   We are ready for 2026 with

the improvements we made, and will bring you the best coverage possible and

in 2028 we will have an electronic electoral college map instead of the paper

and cardboard map we started out with which was still effective.   We made the

right calls at the right time, sometimes before the major networks did because we 

had sources in key states we were able to call with a phone call and knew the 

results before anyone else for the most part!   The Walteria News Network is

located in a small town in Illinois, just across the river from St. Louis, Missouri,

where Walt was born and grew up there.
